Over the weekend, Kenny Chesney performed the concluding show of his “No Shoes Nation Tour,” at Gillette Stadium in Boston.
The tour began in March and featured, Eric Church, Zac Brown Band, Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves.
This is not the first time Kenny wrapped up at Gillette Stadium. Last year’s “Brothers of the Sun Tour,” with Tim McGraw, and 2011’s “Goin’ Coastal Tour” both finished on the Patriot’s field.
Boston Medical Center teamed up with Kenny to establish the “Spread the Love Fund,” which raises money for victims injured during the Boston Marathon bombings. T-shirts are available on his website and all profits go directly to the fund.
Kenny recently announced that he will be taking a break from touring in 2014.
According to Examiner.com, Kenny Chesney stated, "I love the band, the crew, the whole team and it's weird to not be looking at next year's stage design, but I shouldn't make albums to service the tour. So I'm going to put the music first, dial it back and do the strangest thing in the world: not hit the road next summer."
…Kenny get some R&R, but don’t leave us for too long!
